Madrid Jarama - RACE

RACE Foundation, in collaboration with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and UN Tourism, and with the support of the Regional Government of Madrid and Madrid City Council, is organising the first edition of the World Motorsport Tourism Congress to be held at Madrid Jarama – RACE circuit on 15 and 16 June 2026.

As part of the Madrid Mobility & Motorsport World Capital initiative, and in line with the efforts led by UN Tourism to promote events that advance sustainable sports tourism, the congress programme will showcase the wide range of motorsport disciplines—both car and motorcycle racing—and their potential to drive progress and foster sustainable tourism development.

With an expected attendance of around 300 participants, the World Motorsport Tourism Congress will bring together leading stakeholders from the tourism and motorsport sectors. The event will serve as a platform to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore key insights into this growing segment of sports tourism, including its economic impact, its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, and effective strategies for promoting destinations associated with motorsport events.
